What is EGYM?

EGYM is an innovative smart fitness system designed to make strength training simple, effective, and personalized. EGYM’s intelligent strength machines automatically adjust to your individual settings, including resistance, range of motion, and training goals, creating a customized workout experience every time you exercise.

The EGYM circuit consists of 11 motorized strength machines that target all major muscle groups, allowing you to complete a full-body workout in approximately 30 minutes.

Individuals ages 13 and older are eligible to use EGYM equipment after completing the required onboarding session.

How Does EGYM Work?

During your onboarding appointment, EGYM conducts a strength assessment to determine the ideal resistance level for each machine. The system continuously adapts as you progress, ensuring your workouts remain challenging and effective.

Using your RFID wristband, each machine automatically:

• Adjusts resistance to your personal settings
• Sets the appropriate range of motion
• Tracks your workout progress
• Guides you with visual prompts for proper pace and form

The system even indicates when it is time to move to the next machine, helping you stay on track and complete a balanced workout efficiently.

Getting Started

To begin using EGYM:

1. Register for an EGYM onboarding appointment (below)
2. Complete your personalized strength assessment
3. Receive your RFID wristband
4. Start training on the EGYM circuit

GRAND OPENING SPECIAL RATE: $25 one-time onboarding rate per member is required and includes your RFID wristband. Starting October 1, the one-time rate will be $40.

Cost

YMCA Members: GRAND OPENING SPECIAL RATE: $25 one-time onboarding fee per user. Starting October 1, $40 one-time onboarding fee per user.

This fee includes:

• Personalized onboarding session
• Initial strength assessment
• RFID wristband
• Access to the EGYM smart fitness system

Replacement RFID wristband will be a $10 charge.
