Labor Day Family Camp

Come together with family and friends at the end of the summer season for this traditional, three-day camp. Family Camp weekends provide families with a fun-filled family getaway that removes the distractions of daily life and allows the freedom to focus solely on one another while creating memories in nature. With traditional camp activities, like canoeing, archery, swimming, campfire and arts & crafts, and special family events this is guaranteed quality time! Let us take care of you while you focus on each other. Wapsie staff create the schedule and provide the activities, meals through brunch Monday, and lodging. Check in at 2:00-2:30 Saturday. Programing ends 1:00 Monday.

Cancellations:

Cancellations must be made in writing or by email, [email protected]. Cancellations less than 10 days prior to the session start date forfeit half the camp fees. No Shows will be charged the full fee. There is no refund for behavior-related problems including bullying, abusive language, use of drugs, alcohol, tobacco, or vaping products. Campers who leave or cancel on the advice of medical personnel will receive a prorated refund with a physician’s note.

Mini & Me Camp – Fall 2026!

Making memories that last a lifetime can happen anywhere at any time. Finding a way to cherish these memories and capture them is our goal at YMCA Camp Wapsie. Our Mini & Me weekend camp offers adults and children a time to bond and grow together. Trying new activities, such as rock climbing, archery, canoeing, slingshot, crafting and many more fun games. 

Every family will get a box to collect small tokens of achievements for attempting new activities. By the end of the weekend event you will have a time capsule full of crafts, achievements and memories to bring home with you. You will also be able to write your future self a post card and as a reminder a year from now, go back and relieve your Wapsie weekend all over again.

Mother – Daughter Weekend

Designed for women and the young ladies in their lives; this is a terrific opportunity for women to come to Camp Wapsie and share in the magic of camp with their camper. The weekend allows for that special time together with plenty to do including meeting new friends, camp activities, crafts and delicious meals. Please sign up each person individually. Program runs 6:00 pm Friday evening through 11:30am Sunday.
